About

The person behind the practice.

Who runs Kaizen

I'm Jordan Scowen — and Kaizen & Co is built on one idea: that most companies are quietly overspending on IT, and almost nobody independent is looking.

I bring 12+ years in IT lifecycle and IT operations — managing the full asset lifecycle across multiple sectors and platforms. That breadth matters: seeing how different organisations run their estates has given me a wide view of the issues that quietly drive up IT cost, and how the same patterns of waste repeat from one company to the next.

That's paired with hands-on project management experience, including project delivery at Virgin Media — running complex, moving-part work to a result. Cost optimisation isn't just spotting the waste; it's leading the change to fix it without disrupting the business. The delivery side is what turns a report into real savings.

It's a background built specifically around what Kaizen does: seeing an IT estate whole, from procurement through to end-of-life, and turning waste into savings and a cleaner, better-run estate.

How I work

I work as a single, independent specialist — which is deliberate, not a limitation. It means the person who reviews your estate is the person who does the work; there's no account manager in between, no junior hand-off, and no sales team with a quota. You get senior attention on every part of it.

And I'm genuinely independent. I don't sell hardware, I don't resell software, and I take no commission from any vendor. That matters, because it means my only interest is finding you the right answer — not the one that pays me a margin. If the honest finding is that there's little to save, I'll tell you that too.

The best way to see whether this is useful is the free audit. No cost, no commitment.
